  • Isn’t it strange that we talk the least about the things we think about the most?

Offering fully qualified, experienced, and professional Integrative Psychotherapy. Often described as talking therapy, counselling can feel overwhelming, we hope to ease those feelings by offering an empathetic, calming, and compassionate space for you to talk, and explore whatever difficulties you are experiencing. The journey is about you, and we are here to help you to get to where you want to be, offering non-judgemental support along the way. We are here to listen, understand and collaborate with you at your pace, to help you to achieve positive change and personal growth. We work face to face, as well as online helping clients, explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours

Mind ur Business therapy is breaking through perceived therapy barriers and is at the forefront of the counselling revolution to bring therapy into the 21st century. We use an online client booking system with flexible booking options understanding that the average person can’t always make 2 pm on a Tuesday, online bookings receive automated reminders to ensure you don’t miss your session. We provide online invoicing and payment links so you never have to disclose your bank details, carry cash, or experience any awkwardness in paying your therapist within your session. We offer a clear pricing strategy that allows therapy to become more accessible to a wider range of clients. We are always keen to receive client feedback, at the end of the therapeutic relationship we send an anonymous electronic questionnaire to all clients. This feedback is crucial in gaining an insight into the client experience, it supports therapists’ development, whilst highlighting where improvements can be made whilst also maintaining areas that clients identify as successful. Mind ur Business therapy counselling takes place in state-of-the-art, modern and contemporary practices, designed and created with therapy clients specifically in mind, ensuring it also offers a warm, comfortable, and calming environment. We follow this modern approach throughout a client’s journey, ensuring we keep at the forefront of theories, techniques, and innovative ways to support our clients.

One of the hardest lessons in life is letting go, whether it's guilt, anger, shame, loss, love, or betrayal. Change is never easy; we fight to hold on, and we fight to let go

We can support clients through a range of issues such as Trauma, Bereavement, Loss, Anxiety, Acceptance, Depression, Gender identity, Stress, Abuse, Sexual orientation, Addiction, disordered eating and Relationships. We can't list everything that we can support clients with, so it's always worth getting in touch to have a free 15-minute consultation if we can't offer the right support we will probably know someone who does.  Every client is unique therefore every reason for seeking counselling will be unique.

Some therapists have an area they specialise in, they are likely to be further trained in, well-read, and/or more experienced in, this usually means this is where their passion lies.  At Mind ur Business Therapy we are specialists in Trauma, Relationship counselling  and disordered eating specifically obesity, emotional and overeating,

The relationship between client and therapist is one of the most important aspects of counselling, you need to feel a strong connection and trust your therapist, especially when showing a high level of vulnerability, including feeling safe to fully express your difficulties. It is vital that you feel seen, heard, and understood, this therapeutic relationship is a collaborative process working together to empower you to identify your counselling goals and have a greater awareness of self.

  • “Feeling alone in a world full of people somehow compounds the isolation, losing connection with the world can be crippling, talking therapy can help you to re-engage.”

Counsellors have such varied qualifications; It's important to choose one who is a member of a professional bodyas this ensures they have been trained to a high standard, in what is essentially an unregulated market. I understand therapists all become a bit of a blur  and it can feel overwhelming. There's no better way for a therapist to stand out from the crowd and promote what they do then through previous client testimonials and feedback. Therefore, we always ask clients if they are happy to receive an online questionnaire, feedback is anonymous but we find lots of clients want us to know it's them that has completed the questionnaire.

Sharon, Individual Adult Therapy Client

“I have had therapy in the past, so was a bit jaded by what I would gain from more counselling but I knew my negative thoughts had started to return. Danielle seemed to always be able to understand where I was coming from and gave what I said back to me in a way that made perfect sense to me. She was always focused on me and my issues, and always came across as a genuine person. Overall, I was very satisfied with the counselling I received and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Danielle to friends and family. “
